Overview
SQL Developer is a graphical integrated development environment from Oracle that, when used well, enhances the productivity of SQL and PL/SQL developers.
SQL Developer provides capabilities to create and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes and views and to create, debug, tune and maintain SQL code and PL/SQL procedures, functions and triggers.
Developers and sophisticated end-users can also create and preserve ad hoc database queries or user defined reports through the SQL Developer interface.
SQL Developer also provides utility functionality such as migrating database objects from schema to schema and monitoring and profiling PL/SQL execution.
This class is relevant to SQL Developer versions 1.1 through 1.5.
