TSHOOT is a new course that replaces ISCW and ONT as part of Cisco's recent changes to the CCNP certification.
In this course, networking professionals who work in complex network environments will gain the skills needed to maintain their networks and to diagnose and resolve network problems quickly and effectively. You will learn to troubleshoot and maintain particular technologies, and you will learn procedural and organizational aspects of the troubleshooting and maintenance process. A large part of the course consists of practicing these skills and reinforcing the concepts by putting them to use in a controlled environment.
At the end of the course, you will have increased your skill level and developed a set of best practices that are based on your experience and the experiences of other students and that you can take back to your organization. This course is a component of the CCNP curriculum and assists the network professional in preparing for Cisco CCNP certification.
Prerequisites
CCNA certification or familiarity with internetworking technologies and the ability to perform basic configuration of Cisco routers, including practical experience installing, operating, and maintaining Cisco routers and switches in an enterprise environment.
