This instructor-led training course with labs will prepare you to implement a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace 7.0 solution. You will gain hands-on experience using various user interfaces and procedures to configure the Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Application Server, Media servers, and Web Conferencing servers as part of a typical on-premise solution. You will get specific instruction on configuring common MeetingPlace integrations, such as Outlook email, Directory Services integration, and the optional WebEx off-net conferencing solution. You will gain the basic skills necessary to install, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot a Cisco Unified MeetingPlace implementation, and you'll participate in hands-on labs that reinforce your skills and knowledge.
Prerequisites
- Hands-on experience with MeetingPlace from having attended:
- CMBU - Cisco MeetingPlace Basic User
- CMAD - Cisco MeetingPlace Administrator
- DMPS - Cisco Unified MeetingPlace Solutions v1.0
- Working knowledge of converged voice and data networks
- Working knowledge of SIP, MGCP, and H.323 protocols and their implementation on Cisco IOS gateways
- Working knowledge of video and the basics of Cisco Unified Video Conferencing
- Ability to configure and operate Cisco Unified Communications Manager
- Suggested training: ICRMC, CIPT1
