Labs
Our PRSDI 6/7 lab environment offers a unique, real-world environment for learning how to deploy a Cisco Unified Communications environment including a simulated PSTN with full dial plan capabilities and each pod in its own area code. Our PRSDI course focuses on presence integration and configuration: CUPS system setup, CUCM and CUPS integration and configuration of presence clients for presence, desk phone control, and e-mail and voice mail integration. Microsoft integration to support remote call control of Cisco 7965 IP Phones from Microsoft Office Clients is also covered.
Each student pod is equipped with servers that are installed but not configured:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.x
- Cisco Unified Presence Server 7.x
- Cisco Unified Messaging 5.0 for voice mail integration
- A Microsoft Windows 2003 domain controller for Active Directory integration and including a Certificate Authority and Exchange 2003 for e-mail integration
- A Microsoft OCS 2007 Front End server for MOC client remote call control
